If you want good tasting food and a play ground your kiddos can play on this is a nice place. And the food takes about 15 min but it is worth it. The Chile rellenos are the bomb. :)

This place has gone down hill over the last ten years. And I have dined here several times, since I live in the area.
Like tonight, getting served takes a long time. Not helpful, not all that friendly.
We split fajitas. No sizzle. Little meat. No flavor. Cold tortillas.
The modelo on tap was cold however.
The bar is dirty. The carpet is gross and they have a long mattress for a seat that is stained.
I hope they can make some improvements. And get back to what they once had. -

I waited a week before actually writing this review so I could have some time to mellow since our visit. This restaurant is far and above one of my most disappointing experiences. We waited over 40 min to get our food with a cup of chips. I ordered their steak special, med rare. The steak was seasoned well but cooked so long that you couldn't cut it. It was soo over cooked a well done steak eater (hubby)couldn't eat it. When I brought this up the waiter said "he must have forgot it on grill" and left. When I got him back he said they could fix it and took the whole plate away. I sat waiting another 20+minutes while my hubby ate and when it came back the steak was an unseasoned piece of meat that was half over cooked. It takes effort to ruin a Stewart's meat steak and they did it. It was 2.5 hours of our life and $50 wasted. The atmosphere was okay and earned the 2 stars

"The Port" is still our go-to Mexican joint - mostly because it is close by.
Recently we went and I tried something different (I unusually stick to either pollo en creama or fish tacos) - but I tried the shrimp and mushroom quesadilla. Oh my! Where has this been all my life?! While I would have appreciated more shrimp, it was probably the best quesadilla on the planet (yes - I love to exaggerate a little). It was amazing! -

Came in from out of town to visit family. I'm always wary to try mexican food when I'm out of Texas but my brother assured me this place was good and he was not wrong! Spicy salsa and big portions it was delicious!
